Rasmussen, 93 Clara L. Rasmussen, 93, of Rockford, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 1999, in Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. Born March 24, 1906, in Navarino, Wis., daughter of Oscar and Carrie Amundson Rasmussen. Clara, along with her sister, operated Rasmussen Sisters Catering in Chicago. Member of First Evangelical Free Church, Rockford. Former member of Winnetka (Ill.) Bible Church. Survivors include sisters, Ruth Rasmussen of Rockford, Olga Herren of Clintonville, Wis., and Rosalia Lindsten of Neenah, Wis. and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents and brother, Lewis Rasmussen. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, in Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center, with the Rev. Howard Lanphear, pastor of First Evangelical Free Church, officiating. Burial in Navarino, Wis. Visitation from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday. Memorials to Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center.
