Repman (June 19, 1920 - March 4, 1996) CAMAS A World War II Marine Corps veteran, George J. Repman, 75, died in a Clackamas hospital Monday, March 4, 1996. He was a retired foreman at the former Crown Zellerbach paper mill in Camas. He is survived by his wife, Melba, at home; three daughters, Sharon M. Steinmeyer of Eugene, Mary K. Persons of Camas and Paula D. Repman of Colfax, Wash.; five sons, Thomas J. of Eugene, Charles J. of Camas, Christopher E. of Washougal, Patrick G. of Vancouver and Lawrence A. of Seattle; one brother, John of Vancouver; one sister, Jean McHenry of Vancouver; 18 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Mr. Repman, born June 19, 1920, in Shawano, Wis., enjoyed golf, hiking and camping and served as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader and Little League coach. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas, Knights of Columbus and Orchards Hills Golf and Country Club in Washougal. An evening vigil will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.
