Long Ellsworth L. Long, age 69, Tigerton, died on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 at Bohlman Manor, Birnamwood. He was born on Nov. 15, 1939 in Wausau, the son of the late Russell and Bertha (Keckhaver) Long. In 1958, Ellsworth married Lana Ortlieb. She preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 1993. He then married Darlene Dederich. She survives. Ellsworth worked at Chrysler in Kenosha for 33 years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Darlene Long, Tigerton; four children, Larry (Terri) Long, Big Bend, Bruce (Renate) Long, Mt. Vernon, Lisa (Allen) Onesti, Mattoon, Richard (Michelle) Long, Kenosha; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one sister, Ardell (Jeff) Tarr, Beaver Dam. In addition to his parents and wife, Ellsworth was preceded in death by two brothers, Milton and Marvin and one sister, Beatrice. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009 at Schmidt Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. The Rev. Erik Olson will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Schmidt Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements.
