Fossum John J. Fossum, age 58 of Shawano, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 in Shawano. Born on May 5, 1951 in Keshena, he was the son of the late John and Irene (Rabbideau) Fossum. John worked as a self-employed truck driver for a logging company. In his free time, he enjoyed working on vehicles and rebuilt a pickup truck. He had a great deal of musical talent and enjoyed collecting eagles. John is survived by: 10 children, Deon (Brian) Dey of Clintonville, Jennifer Fossum of Shawano, Tina (Tim) Lintner of Green Bay, Tonia Small of Mauston, Jodi Fossum of Shawano, John Fossum III of Colo., Michael Fossum of Mich., Zachary Fossum of Shawano, Zoie Fossum of Shawano, Nicholas Gast of Shawano; six grandchildren, Briana, Brea, Dahna, Samanna, Ariana, Aden; and several other family members. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with Deacon Tom Hartman officiating. Family and friends may call at the Neopit Community Center after 4 p.m. on Wednesday until the time of services on Thursday.
