Bartholomew NORTHUMBERLAND Ronald E. Bartholomew, 66, of 333 Sixth St. died Monday in Sunbury Community Hospital. He was a former employee of the CSX railroad in Maryland and SEDA-COG, Winfield; a graduate of Sunbury High School and Susquehanna University; an Army veteran of the Korean War; and a member of Northumberland Hook & Ladder Fire Company and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are three sons, Eric, Jason and Justin; two daughters, Lori and Renee; four sisters, Martha Thacker of Monenee, Ill., Rita Ruff of La Crosse, Wis., Janice Hanson of Shawano, Wis., and Shirley Shroyer of Sunbury; and a grandchild. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in Bethany Evangelical Church, Sunbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.
