The son of John and Rose (Westphal) Jaworski was born August 19, 1944 at home in Chase. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had served in Vietnam for a 14-month tour of duty. On August 19, 1972 he married Nancy Wroblewski at St. John Cantius Church, Sobieski. The couple lived in Chase for the past 35 years. Larry loved his job. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Peters Concrete. He was a member of the Pulaski VFW, the Oconto Co. DAV, and the Krakow PLAV. Larry loved to cook and bake, and was generous in sharing meals and bread with family and friends. He loved his wife, children and his grandchildren very much. Larry was a hard worker who loved to build things and couldn't sit still. He was not real happy being retired. In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by two daughters and three sons; Tina, Green Bay, Lawrence B., Waupaca, Bobbie, Madison, Luke, Waupaca, and Ben, at home; his four cherished granddaughters, Seylar, Grace, Kassidy, and Independence "Penny"; his mother-in-law, Jeanne Wroblewski, Chase; seven brothers, John Jr. (Rose), Pulaski, Ed (Georgia) and Norbert (Carole), all of Florida, Eugene (Nancy), Michigan, Matthew (Carol), Madison, Jim (Donna), Chase and Ron (Kathy), Chase; four sisters, Dorothy Pecht, Green Bay, Alvina (Myron) Sievert, Pulaski, Elaine (Norb) Verhaagh, Green Bay, and Mary McVey, Kansas; two sisters-in-law, Barb and Mary; one aunt, Lottie Jaworski, Pulaski; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Robert and Bill, two sisters, Grace and Virginia, his father-in-law, A. John Wroblewski, and two brothers-in-law, George Pecht and Jim McVey. Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday. Veterans Service at 7:00 p.m. followed by a closing Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. The visitation continues after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Sobieski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, Fr. Gerald Prusakowski, O.F.M. presiding with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chase.
