He then married Theresa (Duffek) Loritz on October 3, 1922 in Aniwa. She survives. In addition to his wife, Theresa, survivors include one daughter, Mary (William) Mondl, Aniwa; three sons, Charles Herbst, Oshkosh, Clarence (Irene) Herbst, Mattoon and Leonard Herbst, Milwaukee; one step-son, Antone Loritz, Seymour; 14 grandchildren; and one sister, Josephine Brimstein, Park Falls. Funeral services were held May 16, 1962 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. The Rev. Leo Schmitt officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery. Sippl, age 80, Birnamwood, died Sunday, November 30, 2008 under the care of LeRoyer Hospice at his home. He was born February 24, 1928 in Aniwa, the son of the late Frank and Barbara (Resch) Sippl. On September 3, 1947, he was united in marriage to Jeanette Heinzen in Phlox. She survives. Edward was a dairy farmer and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa, the Holy Name Society and also served on the Aniwa Town Board. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and playing cards but especially loved spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Jeanette, he is survived by six sons; Earl (Pat) Sippl, Tom (Connie) Sippl, Bob (Lucy) Sippl, Paul (Mary) Sippl, all of Birnamwood, Nick (Linda) Sippl, Washington Crossing, PA, and Pete (Tracy) Sippl, Seymour, three daughters; Rita (Gordon) Layton, Nekoosa, Diane (Joe) Di Battista, Fort Walton Beach, FL and Judy Wood, Milwaukee; 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Ann Traska, Cottage Grove. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Sippl and Joe Sippl and three sisters, Bertha Schmidt, Mary Beran and Irene Kriha. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. Rev. Everard Scesney, O.F.M. will officiate. Survivors includes three sisters: Clara (John) Bahr, Antigo; Cecelia (Edwin) Schraml, Antigo; and Virginia Horazkovsky, Cedar Park, TX; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, including William and four sisters. Funeral services were held July 21, 1989 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Father Thomas Abraham officiated. He was born November 26, 1899 in Czechoslovakia, the son of the late John and Anna (Steckbauer) Weber. On March 4, 1935 John was united in marriage to Mary Weber in Aniwa. She survives. In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Francis Weber, Aniwa; three daughters, Agnes (Roger) Stieber, Wausau, Margaret (Thomas) Kerkes, Wausau and Pauline (Jeffrey) Wergin, Mosinee; three brothers, Frank, Karl and Alois, all of Germany; one sister, Emma Koscheny, Germany; and 11 grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, a son, John Weber and three brothers, Otto, Alfred and Joseph. Funeral services were held July 7, 1975 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. The Rev.
