Tincher Sandra L. Tincher, 52, Berlin, died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born Nov. 16, 1946, in Neenah, the daughter of Richard and Alice Sauer Mayefske. She was a 1965 graduate of Bonduel High School and attended Bellin School of Nursing in Green Bay. On Dec. 17, 1966, she was united in marriage to Donald Tincher. The Tinchers moved to Berlin in 1970. Sandy worked as a bookkeeper and checkout person at Sentry Foods in Berlin for over 20 years. She was a member of the United Methodist church in Berlin, Past Matron of Maple Chapter, Order of Eastern Star and was a Youth leader for the M.Y.F. Sandy loved to travel and shop, but the greatest joy in life was her children. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Don; one daughter, Amy (Jacob) Tincher-Durik, Waupaca; two sons, John (Tina) Tincher, Ypsilanti, Mich.; and Andrew, Berlin; two grandchildren, Patrick and LeeAnn Tincher; her father and stepmother, Richard and Lucille Mayefske, Two Rivers; four sisters, Diana (Terry) Radtke, Zachow, Wis.; Pamela (Jeff) Dercks, Shorewood, Wis.; Christine (Gary) Huck, Rochester, Minn.; and Rebecca (Roy) Chase, Manitowoc; three brothers, Steven (Bonnie) Mayefske and James (Lori) Mayefske, all of Green Bay; and David (Jeanne) Mayefske, Appleton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Sauer Mayefske. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, April 19, at 7 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, the Rev. Robert Blackburn officiating. She was born on July 30, 1923, in the Town of Herman, Shawano Co. to the late John and Emma (Viergutz) Kroll. In 1943, she married Harold Weede. He was killed in service in 1945. In 1947, she married Vilas "Mike" Wichmann. He preceded her in death in 1968. Lorian was employed for 20 years by McGraw-Hill Dodge Reports. She was an avid Packers fan and was one of several who organized the Westside Lions Girls Softball League. She was a longtime volunteer for the Mobile Meals Program and a former member of Green Bay Solo Parents organization. She was an active member of St. Mark Ev. Lutheran Church and its ladies guild. Kathy married Philip Kirchner on October 1, 1988, at Faith Lutheran Church, Green Bay. She taught second grade at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Bonduel. Kathy was active in child development and had a deep love for children. She was instrumental in the development of the preschool program at Faith Lutheran Church, Green Bay, where she served as the First Director of the preschool. She had a zest for life and enjoyed many things. Kathy traveled extensively both with her husband and her parents. She loved to have fun and enjoyed her friends and fa! mily. She was a loving and devoted wife and daughter and was loved by all who knew her. Kathy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Philip Kirchner, Green Bay; her parents, Reverend J. Robert and Nancy Koch, Green Bay; one brother and sister-in-law, Dr. J. Paul and Nicolina Koch and their son Connor, Atlanta, GA.; father and mother-in-law, Reverend Donald and Margaret Kirchner, Clinton, Il.; one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law, Mary Anne Kirchner and daughter Maria, Normal, Il.; John (Cheri) Kirchner and son Blake, Burnsville, MN. She was preceded in death by one sister, Nana Letitia. Friends may call at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S. Webster Avenue, Green Bay, on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. The visitation will continue Tuesday after 10 a.m. at the church until the time of service. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith R. Jones officiating. Body laid to rest awaiting resurrection to eternal life at Woodlawn Cemetery, Allouez. Cotter Funeral Home assisted the family. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, the Kathryn A. Kirchner Memorial Fund has been established. Special thanks to the St. Vincent tenth floor nursing staff and the cystic fibrosis staff.
