    1. [WISHAWAN] Marabeth Hansen (d. 2005)
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: TCMitten Surnames: Classification: obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.wisconsin.counties.shawano/16706/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Obituaries: Marshfield Area (WI) - June 9, 2005 Deceased Name: Marabeth Hansen Marabeth Hansen, daughter of Malcolm and Virginia Hansen, died late Friday evening, May 27, 2005, at her home in Westboro. She is further survived by her brother, Jon, wife, Beth, and their daughter, Kelsey, and son, Jake, all of Salmon, Idaho, where one of a kind vacations were spent. Formerly of Marshfield, Mary was an honor graduate with a double major in Earth Science and Art at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She also was a graduate of Goddard College, Plainfield, Vt., with a Masters Degree in Art Therapy. She was hired by Dan Bohn, administrator of Rib Lake schools, 22 years ago. Previously she had taught five years on the Stockbridge Muncie Reservation at Bowler, Wis. She was an accomplished gardener and herb person, especially in the field of garlic and its many varieties. Many hundreds of jars of produce and jams were finished and two freezers were filled each season. Her colored sheep have dwindled in number to a few. The fleece was processed near Madison into yarn, which she used to hand hook one-of-a-kind scenic rugs, portraying life on the land she loved and respected. Her father, Malcolm, collaborated with her in fulfilling her endeavors. We, her parents, wish to thank all her students over the years who helped her grow and develop as a teacher. Thanks also to RN Chris Cline and Therapist Daisy Peterson of Hospice who made the end of her life more bearable. Although Sage, the 12-year golden retriever, and Madeline, the 3-year-old Blue Merl Australian sheepdog, understand her departure, it in no way eases the loss of her companionship. Although Mary lived a shorter life than any of us would wish, she packed each day to the fullest. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I am related to Sarah Elizabeth Mayville (1859-1925) who married Luther Beaulieu (1853-?? - parents John Beaulieu and Polly Furwill) and they had at least nine children between 1878 and 1907. Haven't been able to find much on the family because of how many misspellings there are on the name "Beaulieu"... I don't know if these families are related but the name isn't very common.
