Lloyd C. Lepak, 77, Pulaski, died peacefully Sunday evening, December 30, 2007 surrounded by his family. The son of the late Frank and Stella (Stefaniak) Lepak was born July 8, 1930 on the home farm in the town of Maple Grove, where he lived and farmed all of his life. On September 15, 1951 he married the former Bernadine Laskowski at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski. In addition to his wife Bernadine, survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Carol) Lepak, Krakow; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lori (Brian) Jarosinski, Pulaski, Mary (Todd) Raether, Shawano, Diane (Patrick) Smet, Suamico; seven grandchildren, Kurt, Kellie, Erik, and Caitlin, Jennah, Trevor, and Ryan; step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; one brother, Raphael (Frances) Lepak, Pulaski; two sisters-in-law, Connie Lepak, Milwaukee and Lorraine Lepak, Krakow; Bernadine's family, Myron (Audrey) Laskowski, Pulaski and Elaine (Duane) Karcz, Krakow; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister-in-law, Leonard, Alvin (Eleanora), and Richard Lepak. Marvelyn worked as a cook at The Pancake Place in Green Bay for 16 years, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed singing, going for walks, gardening, crocheting, and bowling. She loved to spend time with her children and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Clyde, she is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Ricky Cornell, Menasha; Curtis (Alane) Cornell, Abrams; Mark (Sandy) Cornell, Sobieski; and Tracy (special friend Becky Lemmen) Cornell, Pulaski; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda (Skip) Skippon, San Diego, Calif.; and Tammy (Dale) Hendrickson, Brussels; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Diane Mink, Florida. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Clyde Cornell Jr.; two half brothers and two half sisters. Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski, after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. The son of Myron and Carol (Splitgerber) Karcz was born Nov. 24, 1964, and was a 1983 graduate of Pulaski High School. After graduating he joined the Army, and was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado until his separation in 1986. Brian enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and stock car racing. He was also a member of the Zachow Sportsmens Club. Spending time with friends and loved ones was also important to Brian; he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by one brother, Scott (Jenny) Karcz, Pulaski; one sister, Renee Karcz, Little Suamico; two nephews, Michael and Andrew Karcz, both of Green Bay; and a special godson, Aaron Karcz. Brian is also survived by his girlfriend, Lisa DuBois and their canine baby, Logan, uncles and aunts, cousins, other relatives, and many friends. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army. On Sept. 11, 1954, he married the former Catherine Gracyalny. Sy worked for Fort Howard Paper Mill and Fairmont Foods, and then farmed for many years in the town of Angelica until retiring in 2002. He was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Pulaski, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, playing cards, gardening, and watching westerns (especially those starring John Wayne). Sy was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Edwin B. Brend was born Aug. 11 1909, the son of Ole and Mina (Hallingstad) Brend, in Portland, where he graduated high school in 1930. He attended Mayville (N.D.) State Teachers College, where he received his Teachers Certificate in 1932. He taught school in Bismarck, Portland and Cummings, N.D. He left teaching in 1938 and started working for Sorlie Farmers Elevator, Cummings. He married Caroline Gunderson Nov. 8, 1939, in Buxton, N.D. They lived in Cummings, where he continued to work for Sorlie. He retired February 1942. They moved to Mohall, where they owned and managed the Gunderson Hanson Elevator until the business was sold in 1962. He began working for the Renville Bottineau Memorial Hospital, Mohall as a hospital administrator. He retired in 1974. He is survived by his wife; sons, Curtis (Linda), Bowler, Wis., LeRoy (Shirley) and Arliss (Terrie), both of Bismarck, and Richard (Paula), Plover, Wis.; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Walter, Mayville. He was preceded in death by a son, Ernest; sisters, Ella, Agnus and Julia Brend; and brothers, Oswald, Lawrence, Henry and Elvin. Services: 11 a.m. Friday in Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall. Visitation: Noon to 7 p.m. today, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, in Anderson Nelson Funeral Home, Mohall. Burial: Mohall Community Cemetery. Charles was born April 20, 1919, in Bowler, Wis., to the late Tom and Julia (Cornelius) McCarrell. He served in the U.S. Navy toward the end of World War II. He married the former Amber Lindsley on Mar. 15, 1973. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Gateway Transportation. Charles loved playing baseball, bowling, was a little league coach and loved to watch the Packers. He was well loved and will be fondly remembered by his family and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Clarabelle; his first wife, LaVerne (Van Rixel) McCarrell; two sons, Patrick and Teddy; and a grandson, Chris Konitzer. Mr. Millerd L. Kucksdorf, age 83, of Appleton, formerly of Town of Wescott, passed away Friday, May 19, 2000, at Fransican Health and Rehabilitation Center in Appleton, where he had been a resident for the past four months. Millerd was born Sept. 2, 1916 in Bowler Wis., a son of the late Robert and Elsie (Miller) Kucksdorf. On May 23, 1942, he was united in marriage to the former Dorothy "Dottie'' Bernarde in Bowler. Millerd had farmed the family farm in Bowler for five years. He had also worked at the Paragon Electric Company. He and his wife owned and operated Kucksdorf's Store in the Town of Wescott from mid 1950's until the early 70's. Millerd also worked for the City of Shawano until his retirement in 1981. He served as The Town of Wescott Board Supervisor from 1969-1977. He was very active in the Senior Songbirds Singing Group. He is a former member of St. James Lutheran Church of Shawano, and is currently a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Shawano. Survivors include his wife Dorothy, a resident of Outagamie Health Care Center one daughter, Donna (John) VanBuecken, of Appleton three sons, David (Maryjane) Kucksdorf, of Eden Wis. Dan (Marie) Kucksdorf, of Portage Doug (Sandy) Kucksdorf, of Green Bay five grandchildren, Amie, Brandon, Kayla, Heather, and Ryan Kucksdorf brothers Roland (Joyce) Kucksdorf, Town of Wescott Robert (Nancy) Kucksdorf, of Appleton Special family friend, Doris Bresser of Shawano. She was born Nov. 9, 1907, in Green Bay, to the late Frank and Clara (Hall) Jansen. Bernice attended St. Willebrord Catholic School and later graduated from Green Bay East High School, with the Class of 1925. Bernice's top priority in life was her family. She was always active with the family and was always interested in their accomplishments. Bernice was especially close to her great-grandchildren. Bowling was the second love of her life. She was a bowling league member for 52 years. Bernice was involved in the Green Bay Women's Bowling Association where she served as Director, President and City Secretary. She was inducted into the Green Bay Women's Bowling Hall of Fame in 1991. Bernice was also active with the Wisconsin Women's Bowling Association and served as President and Vice-President of the Association. She was a charter member of the Green Bay Jr. Bowling Association and served as the association's president and vice president. Bernice was also involved in arranging many tournament tours for the GBWBA. She enjoyed the Junior Tournaments and often overextended herself to help the Junior Bowlers. Aside from bowling and her family, Bernice enjoyed traveling extensively, ceramics, knitting, crocheting, sewing and playing cards. She was also an avid Packers fan and worked for the Green Bay Packers during the era of Curly Lambeau and Gene Ronzani. Bernice owned and operated The Curtain and Drapery Shop on Main Street for many years before retiring in 1962. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Breuninger, Green Bay three grandchildren and their spouses, Pamela and Dennis Rogge, Bowler, Wis. Francis J. and Kay Breuninger, Appleton, Wis., Jody and Mark O'Brien, Aurora, Colo. nine great-grandchildren, Chris, Brian, Jeremy, Kurt and J.J. Rogge, Andrea and Benjamin Breuninger, Kelly and Erik O'Brien five great-great-grandchildren, Chris Jr., Rebecca, Casey, Jessica and Peyton Rogge a sister, Mrs. Frank (Luella) Van Ess, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, J. Clive Breuninger and Henry Breuninger III a brother, Francis Jansen and two sisters, Catherine Francken and Isabel Collard. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday.
