She enjoyed farming, reading, family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. Edward dairy farmed in Shawano and Outagamie Counties until his retirement in 1978. Edward enjoyed going to the family farm on a regular basis to help his son, Robert, until his death. He was born August 22, 1934, on the Goerl Family Farm in the town of Lessor, the son of the late Emil and Elda (Moeller) Goerl. On May 12, 1990, he was united in marriage to Charlene (Miller) Blake at the Cicero Lutheran Church. Dallis attended Elm Lawn and Seymour High Schools. After graduation he entered the Army during the Korean Conflict, serving in France. Upon returning, he farmed in Briarton, later working for Midwest Breeders. In 1971, he moved to Black Creek and worked as a field representative for Outagamie Producers Co-op. From 1980 until his semi-retirement, he was a self-employed insurance agent. Dallis enjoyed his children, grandchildren, his many friends, playing cards and golfing. He was a lifelong Dodgers fan and enjoyed playing baseball in high school, the military service and on the Navarino team of the Dairyland League. He also enjoyed being in the woods and making firewood. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Cicero and was a very active member of Duhm-Masch American Legion Post #332 of Black Creek. He is survived by his wife, Charlene and their children: Heidi (Allan) Schumacher, Oregon and their children: Michael and Jonathan, Tammy Treleven, Madison and children: Christopher and Nicole, Scott (Betty) Goerl, Sherwood and children Jesse, Paul, Brian, and Kelly, Tracy (Brent) Wagner, Appleton and children: Brittany and Brandon, Trisha (Kerry) Paulson, Green Bay and children: Justin, Connor, Steven and Mitchell, Jered (Deedee) Blake, Seymour and son, Marshall. He died July 14, 1999. Irene lived in Port Edwards and Wisconsin Rapids from 1949 until 1999. During those years, she was a member of the Community Methodist Church of Port Edwards. She loved to travel, play cards and dance. Survivors include her son, David (Cindy) of Oconomowoc; her daughter, Cherie (Tom) Wamser of Franklin; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Grace (Henry) Vissers of Oneida. "Pete" Albert E. Quinney, age 75, Town of Red Springs, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 at his home. Born on June 16, 1934 in the Town of Red Springs, he was the son of the late Alice (Quinney) Bowman and was born a proud member of the Stockbridge Munsee Indian Tribe. In 1956 Albert enlisted with the United States Army and served his country for two years during the Korean War. He worked as a machine operator at the Fort Howard Paper Mill in Green Bay for 25 years, where he was a member of the Fort Howard Key Club and the Quarter Century Club. In 1962, he was united in marriage to Sharon Cox and in 1995 he returned to the Red Springs area until his death. Albert was a member of the Gresham Baseball Hall of Fame. He had a love of sports and especially loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, gardening, taking trips to Sturgeon Bay, listening to oldies country music, and telling old stories. He was the son of the late Kilian and Phoebe (Lehman) Koelbl. After growing up in the Sugar Bush area, Joe moved to the Township of Matteson where he began logging with his father. Later Joe worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad, Mantin Construction in Clintonville, and came back to the logging industry. He then spent 20 years working for the City of Clintonville's Street Department before retiring. Joe was united in marriage to Della Wilken on March 17, 1973, at the St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville where he was a current member. Joe had a love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. He also enjoyed woodworking in his spare time. Survivors are his wife, Della; three sons: Joseph "Joe" K. (Roslyn) Koelbl, Marion; Troy E. (Jody) Koelbl, Clintonville; Todd L. Al served in the United States Army. On Feb. 7, 1950, he married Mildred Kloewer at St. Boniface Catholic Church in West Phalia, Iowa. Al and Mickie farmed in the Cecil area. He always took pride in a straight corn row. After retiring, he enjoyed driving for and visiting with the Amish. He was a member of the Bonduel American Legion Post 217, a member of the White Clay Lake Sportsman Club and he loved to play pool. He played baseball up until he was 50 and then very much enjoyed coaching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the game of baseball.
