Mary Agnes, re Joseph Wise b. circa 1770 NC, you mentioned "James and Joseph". What do you know about James. My ancestor was Benjamin Wise b. circa 1772 NC. I have heard that he had 2 brothers who left the state. I have a lot of information on Benjamin's descendants (several named James) but I am at a dead end on tracing Benjamin's ancestors.
