I am looking for ancestors and descendants a Richard Wise who came to St. Mary's County, MD about 1690. Matthew Wise, in a book on The Boston Family of Maryland conjectured that Richard may have been related to John Wise of Accomack, VA. He now thinks this may not be the case, creating somewhat of a mystery. Scotland and Ireland, along with England are possible sources of origin for this Richard. Any ideas, data or guesses? - Laurie Wise
