Thanks So much, I really appreciate the help that everyone has given me with the DAR lookup. I probably should have given more info, my William Dangerfield was a Col. He wasnt the Col. William that commanded the 7th VR, however. I am certain he was born in 1759 and died in SC 1826. I really need to find someting out about him.
