With the pages of information, pictures, maps, deeds, wills, etc.' there will be near 300 pages. This information was obtained in different ways: by visiting many of my kin in their homes; by telephone; correspondence; visiting many cemeteries; visiting state archives in Montgomery, Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; Columbia, South Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; genealogical departments of several libraries, and several county court houses. The book will be hard bound. I need to have some idea about how many books I should have printed. I have learned that printing a book is very expensive, so I do not want to print too many books, neither do I want to print too few. I am sending letters to more than 100 people, but there are many people whose addresses I do not know. The book has all the information that I could find about the descendants down to the present day, of DANIEL, HERREN, MCKINNEY AND LEVI, the four sons of JOSEPH WISE who came to Southeast Alabama in the early 1820s. If you would share this information with others who you think would be interested, I would be very grateful. The cost of the book will be $45 plus $3.95 for shipping. I would need to receive $25 now to retain a book for you. When you receive the book,, you would pay the remaining $20 plus $3.95, or if you prefer, you can send the entire amount, $48.95, when you let me know that you want me to have a book printed for you. It will probably be several months before the printers will have them completed. I will mail the book to you as soon as I receive them, so please send me your accurate address when you let me know that you want to buy a book. Because I am a descendant of Joseph Wises son, McKinney Wise, I was able to get more information about his descendants, and especially his son Herren Wise and H Wises son, Augustus Wise, than the other three sons. If any errors are found in the book, and you have proof of the correction, let me know, for I plan to make a correction sheet and mail it to all who buy a book.
