I am researching John Wise (may have been Johann Weisse) born Germany wed Annis Fink b 12-24-1820 in Hoage, Freezeland (now Germany), 1842 in Germany. was living in Vandalia, Fayette Co. Ill. in 1854. Had Joseph, Mary Ellen, Jerdon Hill, and other children. At least some of this family was in Osage Co. Scranton Kansas by 1880. They were Latter Day Saints.
