Mitchell, Sorry for the slow response, I had some computer problems. I know next to nothing about my George Wise other than he was "reportedly" from Indiana. He married there, to Mary Ragen and had a son there, he being Casper George Wise. At some point later the family moved to Wapello co. Iowa, and if I remember correctly, my mother mentioned the Ottumwa area. As far as I know George Sr. died in Wapello co. date unknown. Casper married Olive Knight in Oskaloosa, Mahaska co. Iowa and they raised their family and died there. I really can't make a connection to your George Wise....Harvey "Mitchell L.
