Mitchel: I have no George Wise of that time period that was b. in Lincoln Co. unless he was son of George, son of Frederick who went to Buncombe Co. and then some of his children moved into Georgia. Henry, son of Frederick and brother to the above George could have had a son George, but There is no estate setlement or other records to prove his children and they have only been done by a process of elimination. Henry died in Cleveland Co. (taken from Lincoln and Rutherford). It is understood that Frederick, sr. was married to a daughter for Daniel Warlick as he received land from Daniel at same time and same value as Daniel's other children an son-in-laws. Frederick also had a son Daniel who disappeared during RW after being tried for treason. Where did your George move to? I would like to learn more as I am preparing the Frederick Wise family history and welcome any information....
