My WISE ancestor is Isaac Wise, generation 4 in the report below. Isaac has been a stumbling block, for we have been unable to determine who his parents were. This genealogy, without supporting documentation was passed on to me. Several on this list have posted information that mentions some of the names in this list. I would like to know if anyone has information linking Isaac Wise to parents FREDERICK WISE and ELIZABETH BURSON. Also, I've had some correspondence with others who suggest that Isaac's wife was not Elizabeth McCollough, but Elizabeth, or Mary Elizabeth Lemon. Isaac and Elizabeth moved to Jackson Co., WV 1850-55 and later on to Wirt Co. WV. Elizabeth died in Wirt Co., WV and Isaac in Meigs Co., OH.
