I am trying to verify the origins of Samuel WISE b 1785 in VA, died aft Sept 1865 in Ripley co IN. Wife was Elizabeth ???. Because he named a son Tully R WISE, I believe he was connected to the Accomack co VA Wises. Samuel was in Clermont or Belmont co OH around 1820 with a Charles Wise (he named a son Charles too) and was in Franklin co IN by 1830 and Ripley co by 1850. His sons were William, Tully (Robert), George W, Parker, and Jonathan. I would also like to know where any of the Wises may have been buried. I have looked through all of the cemetery records of Toph and can not find them anywhere. I am also trying to verify where in Ohio they were prior to Franklin co IN (Parker, Tully, William and Charles were born in OH). It would seem they were in Belmont or Clermont co OH.
