Hi Mark, I was beginning to think I had dreamed up the name Wise, for no more info than I can find on them. My aunt lives in Redkey and was a Wise, but for some reason the families had children late in life and there is quite a span. We are lucky if we have three generations alive at the same time. My grandfather built the school house N of Redkey when he was young with his oldest son of my grandmother. He was married three times, grandma Barnell was the last one. I have dug in books and files and am literally grabbing at straws on a lot of this. There used to be a Wise-Byrd/Bird reunion in Albany years ago which both sides attended but everyone is dead that could have answered my questions. I'm bout ready to claim anyone who needs a "family" of sorts. HAHA Any info would be appreciated. Where do you live now and did you ever live in mid-IN? Su
