My ancestor, John Wise, was born in 1816 in Monongalia Co, VA/WV. His father was George Wise, born 1773, whose family came from St. Mary's County, MD and Jane King, about whom I know little. John may have been the brother of Isaac Wise mentioned in a message posted by Jimmie Barnes. (Any information on Isaac's parents???)
