I would recommend membership.) There is a book "The Wise Family," by Lavitor Alex Gilliam, Jr. at the SMCHS Research Library. I do not have the year of publication or the publisher. It documents the Wises from England to the USA with the arrival of Richard Wise approximately 1692. It has about three pages on William Wise, son of Richard. It might have more later in the book, but I only have copies of the first fourteen pages. I think, (I am not sure) that a large part of the book focuses on the southern Wise's (Kentucky, Louisiana?).The author references another book, "The Boston Family Of Maryland," by Dr. Matthew Wise. Does anyone know about "The Boston Family Of Maryland" by Dr. Matthew Wise? I would like to find it. I haven't started looking yet. Joan Wise Rogers
