What I do know is that my gg-grandmother was ANNA MARY 'MARY'WEISS (WISZ in marriage record and other various spellings.) She was born about 1851 supposedly in the Alscace France(Germany?) area. She married HENRY BERGHMANN on Sep 14, 1875 in Ripley Co Indiana. She died in Wisconsin in 1929. I havent done much research on her maiden name, so have found no parents/siblings, but know that the name is in and around the Ripley Co area. Would you know of any possible connections?
