Greetings Researchers, This is my first message to the WISE List. For a long time, I have had Mercy WISE b. 21 MAY 1685, Essex, MA, d.7 FEB 1771, m. 31 DEC 1707, at Middletown, CT. to Israel BARNES. I believe she is the dau of Henry WISE, but there are several Henrys, and I'm not sure which one would be her father. Would he be Henry, b. 1654, m. Mary MANSFIELD? I don't know anything about them, other than their names. If he is the right Henry, then is he the son of Joseph and Mary (THOMPSON) WISE? Joseph d. 12 SEP 1684 at Roxbury, MA, and I am again not sure, but believe Mary may be the dau. of Rev. Wm. THOMPSON, who is also an ancestor of mine. I would very much like to get this line straightened out, and hope some others on this List are descended from the same line, and have proof of their data.
