    3. To All, The Wise book I am referring to is "The Adam Wise Family", it is antecedents and descendants of Adam Wise, who immigrated in 1748. It was compiled by Kathryn Swim Cummings and Rachel Hayward. I think copies are still available for $45. Write Kathryn Cummings at P.O. Box 681798, Park City, UT 84068-1798 if you are interested in a copy. I have done look ups on most of the names mentioned in this list and have notified anyone who has had a match, I do not expect to find any of the English or Scot Wise families in their as it is a German line, started out in Maryland, moved to PA and thence to VA, WVA, OH KY and other parts West and South. So do not know of any in the NY NJ or New England states that connect early on, it could have happened later, as you all families are everywhere by now. I have put some of the queries in my newsletter as they came up. It will be sent out next week. I'll let all know if anyone responds with some answers. I do not find William Hunter Wise, although there are William H Wise's, all seem born in PA and OH at the wrong time for yours. I have the Sylvester Wise query in the newsletter because it sounds plausible it is of that line and I have several readers in KS, hope something comes of it.
