I have not been able to find a Barney Wise in the Wise book. There is a Burney Stanton Wise b 1855 Porter Co IN, married Melissa A McAlister 1891, no place of marriage or death is given, This Burney died 1922. He is listed in the index as both Burney and Barney but in the text is says Burney. There is also a Lewis J Wise who was having children starting in 1849, he was born and died in Ohio, had a child Homer b 1879 who died at the age of 20 in Ohio. So the names were associated with that family but I cannot find a connection with them to yours.
