He was an 'early' pioneer of Tennessee, and moved on to Illinois, Randolph County, and by 1850 was in Carroll County, Arkansas, close to the Missouri line. I have some of his children, one of which was Thomas b. 1824 TN., he was my gg grandfather. I have researched this line for years and have not found a link to any of the Carolina Wises, but know he belongs in there somewhere. Known sons of Enoch...William, Thomas, Robert R and possibly Stephen. I could sure use some help. Enoch's wife was Elizabeth b. 1790 according to the 1850 Census for Carroll County, AR. I did get a piece of information recently that states her maiden name was Barrett. Again, I can use some help. I believe the G. in his name is for George. (no proof). Janet Wise Eiskina
