Dear Mitch: George Wise was my great-great-great-grandfather. He was the son of Adam and Frances [unknown maiden name] Wise. He was baptized on July 16, 1780 at St. Andrew's Parish in SMC, married Sophia Hammett on 11/24/1813, and died about 1830. He had two sons, William Robert, and James Clinton [my great-great-grandfather]. I do not know if he died in SMC, but I have no reason to think he did not. Joan Rogers
