Researching my husband's ggrandfather, Henderson Wise, born c. 1835 in Washington Co., Pennsylvania. We know his father was William Wise, a miller who worked at Corbitt's Mill, owned by John Corbitt. Henderson learned his trade as miller from his father. He worked for Jacob and Stephen Ullery in Washington Co. and married his Irish-born wife, Roseanna McDermott, in 1859.
