FYI My Casper (sometimes shown as Jasper) WISE was b. c1801 in Prussia. I believe he and his brother Ferdinand came to MD first (about 1830) and then to Darke Co. OH. Casper appears in 1830 Baltimore, MD census, 1840 and 1850 census in Jackson, Darke Co. OH. I hope this helps other Casper researchers. Doubt if the Casper query with his birth c1870 is related however.
