I have made a breakthrough of sorts on my WISE line. I found my Matthew WISE in the 1880 Madison County, Stoney Creek Township, Indiana census. [so much for family history *<[:-)] Matthew was born 23 Nov.. 1849 in Indiana and married to Mary Ann BOYER, born 16 Dec.. 1852 in Indiana. They had three children: Benjamin Franklin, 12/27/1873-2/3/1920, Nancy A., born ca 1775, and Louetta Christine, born 23 Nov.. 1881 in Hopkins, Nodaway County, Missouri. Matthew died Sept.. 1881 in Nodaway County, Missouri of peritonitis. Benjamin was a minister. He married Martha J. __________, 6/6/1873-3/30/1954. They had five children: David Earl, Franklin Elbert, Alfred, Lula [married _____ Frailey], Rose [married _______ Anderson]. All or most lived and died around Hardy AR. Franklin Elbert married Rebecca ________ and had two daughters: Bessie Mae [married _________ Sample], and Faye [married _________ Brinkley, they lived in Los Angeles].
