Harvey, have you tried getting a death certificate for Casper or Olive Wise? Normally, they show the parents of the deceased person. THE HANDY BOOK FOR GENEALOGISTS shows that death records are complete in Iowa from 1905. In some instances they have them f rom 1880. That might be the easiest way. Also if they were born in the 1870's, you should be able to find them in the household with their parents in the 1880 Iowa census. Mary Louise
