Harvey If they were in Oskaloosa in 1925, you should get a hold of the 1925 state census for Mahaska county, Oskaloosa. THat census has the names of the father and mother and the place parents married for each member of the household. It may help you get a line on ancestors. ALso have you gotten a death certificate from the state and/or obituaries for these people. Iowa generally kept really good records which is why I'm glad all of my great great and half of my 3rd great grandparents lived and died there. They lived in Oskaloosa, Iowa from about the 1870's through their deaths in the late 1940's. They had a son, Harold, and 2 daughters, Naomi and Rosetta Mary (my mother) Rosetta was born May 9, 1906. Casper worked for a local power, utilities company and lost both legs after a fall from a pole. His profession after that was shoe repair. He opened a shop which he owned and opperated until his death. I need any dates, places and especially ancesters. Thanks to all, Harvey<
