On the 1871 census a John Wise is listed as Grandson of William and Hannah Wise, his age is given as 8 which sa birth date of c 1863. I have been unable to trace his birth record and I assume that he was the illegitimate child of one of their children, probably one of their daughters.He died in 1911 when his only child,a son was 13 so we know very little about him. I will keep your details to hand, we might find we have a link one day.Sorry I can't offer any more info.
