His obituary in the The Leader, Pomroy, Ohio December 23, 1908: Isaac Wise was born in Morgantown, PA, March 12, 1818. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Blake, of Syracuse, Dec. 19, 1908, at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 7 days. Isaac married Elizabeth McCollough, born PA March 14, 1817. Isaac moved several times. His son, George Washington Wise, was born March 12, 1841, in Monongahila Co., WV. We find him in the 1850 Census of Wetzel Co. During the mid 1850's Isaac moved to Jackson Co, WV and is found in the 1860 Census of Bellville Dist. In 1879 he is purchasing property in Wirt Co, WV. Isaac remained in Wirt Co. until after the death of his wife in 1887. He moved into the home of his daughter, Nancy Wise Blake, in Meigs Co., Ohio. Jimmie Barnes, b. 1934, Wirt Co., WV

The Adam Wise Family book only has 1 Issac Wise b. 1818 and it does not show a George among his children.
