My G.G.Grandfather Franklin Augustus Wise was born in 1841, I believe in Stark Co. Ohio, between Canton and Akron, and married Susannah Hill b. 1844. I have a copy of his civil war diary that I remember hearing about from my grandpa Roger Short. I finally saw the actual diary about 20 years ago in Cleve. at the Western Reserve Hist.Soc. Not sure how many children Franklin had, I know of at least 9. My g. grandma was Mary A. Wise Short b.1878 d. 1964. I only remember seeing her once or twice. I'm pretty new to this and most dates and facts are in a flux right now and incomplete. I have no photos or items from that side of my family so am interested in any and all photos you may be able to share with me and my family. I have a Jacob P Wise, 1855, and Jacob Ross Wise, 1858 and Jacob Ullery Wise, 1858. Several James Wise, but none with those dates.
