I am descended from Joseph thru his son Joel and have extended the line back to Joseph's grandparents, William Wise, b ca 1681, d 1752 Brunswick, VA. Have not been able to find where William was born. Some have said that he is descended from Col. John Wise and his line in Accomac Co. VA but I have not been able to prove this and the dates don't appear right. Do you have anything on this connection? I also show that Joseph was born in Wayne Co. NC as were most of his 11 siblings.
