Hi Sharon, Are you connected to a Benjamin R,. Wise? His family was from La. I believe his father was William. William was in the household of a Benjamin Wise b. about 1805. I do not know anything about this family except a male from this family matches my brothers DNA. My Wises (William) were from S. C. and moved to Bulloch County, Ga. in 1790.
