Hi Lori, Good luck in your search for your Jacob Wise. I thank you for writing. Yes, it would have been nice to have a Jacob Wise in the bible. There is a transcript of some genealogy of Wises in a bible on line. Maybe that Jacob could be yours. If you want, I will try to find it and send you the place where it is. I looked on ebay, but couldn't fine the bible. My Jacob Wise came from Virginia up to Ohio and then over to Indiana. I think he may have been born around 1800 give or take a few years as his son, Simeon my ggrandfather was born around 1824 in Indiana.
