Wise, 57, Hays, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at his home. He was born June 24, 1951, in Tucumcari, N.M., to William Keith and Juanita (Steen) Wise. He attended school in Amistad, N.M., and college in Las Cruces, N.M. He married Deborah (Reese) on Aug. 21, 1995, in Colvis, N.M. He was a bronco/bull rider and worked in construction. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Shad Wise, Amarillo, Texas; his mother and step-father, Juanita "Nita" and Robert Bailey, Nara Visa, N.M.; two nieces, Tracy Hazen, Canyon, Texas and Rachelle Hazen, Lubbock, Texas; three great-nieces; and a great-nephew. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cline's Mortuary of Hays 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601; inurnment in IOOF Cemetery, Nara Visa. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorials are suggested to Hays Medical Center Foundation/Debakey Heart Institute in care of the mortuary.
