My 2nd great grandfather is Isaac Henderson Wise, 3rd great grandfather is Isaac Wise. I wanted to follow up on your thread a few years ago to see if you've had any luck clarifying Daniel / Mary Powell. I keep coming across Kentucky but that seems like a stretch, though there's no way for me to prove / disprove that currently. Based on the 1860 census the Isaac / Isaac H. line seems pretty legit, but prior to that I'm leveraging your work. I saw some of your posts about the "other" Daniel in KY, with him not being both there and PA at the same time. I was also looking at the "Ancestors & Descendants of Johann Adam Wise" book, but it states Daniel as the KY Daniel rather than the PA Daniel. Are you confident that we are descendants of Johann Adam? Any chance you've done any genetics?
