    3. Hello Frank, My connection to the Wise family is fairly new to me, so was glad to see your post about the book. Just checked the online catalog of Jefferson County AL library and see that they have it. Another book that they have is by Hubert Wesley Lacy and includes Lacey and Wise families of New Kent and Chesterfield Counties, Virginia. They also have three books about Henry A. Wise (1806-1876) of Virginia. My current info is limited to my line in Butts Co GA which begins with Judith Wise (1798-1839) and ascends through Jacob Wise and Joseph Wise, who fought with Elijah Clark in the Revolution. This library is just 60 miles from my driveway, but seems to be a real hassle to get there for a day of research. I plan to get there between Thanksgiving and Christmas and have attached a copy of your post to my printouts on the books. Do you know anything about the Wises who came to Georgia? 3. Still looking for my George Wise of Newcomerstown, Ohio. Because George Wise and Jane King were married 3-7-1799 and I believe my George was born in Abt 1791, I can pretty much rule out that my George is the (Geo. and Jane Wise) and he is not their son either. The George Wise who married Sophia Hammett 11-23-1813 is a closer match of my George of Nctown. Who has the info that can rule out this George?death date?place? Joseph b; 1880 was married to CAtherine Caroline Foorhs, who was an orphan born about 1899 in New York. I know nothing more of her. They lived in the Bronx. They had the following children Ruth b: 1901 d:1975 New York, Frank B: 1904 d: 1955, Margrette b: 1910 d: 1988, and My grandmother Dorothea Viola b:1912 d: 1993.
