Dot and Bobbie, It appears that I can connect to Bobbie's lineage but not Dot's. I an descended from James Wise b. about 1797 (Son of Benjamin Wise b. about 1772, m. Sarah Cuthbertson). James married Martha (Patsy) Wilson 4 Oct 1836. The first and middle names of their children were: William Harvey, Isaac, Sarah Matilda, Celia Caroline, Mary, Josiah Hutsel, Margaret Emeline, Martha Elizabeth, Claspha Adalaid, Tempa, and Robert Ganaway. When I get the family notes sorted out, I believe that my lineage will continue through James' son Isaac and Isaac's son Cornelius. The Wise's are my paternal line. Right now I have been working more on my maternal lineage.

Looking for information re William Wise (m. Elisabeth) in Washington or Greene Counties, Pa. They were parents of Henderson (b. 1835,36 Washington Co near Clarksville, Greene Co, Pa), William, John, Everalls and another unknown daughter). Henderson is my husband's great-grandfather and we are stumped as to any other information on Henderson parents. Henderson married an Irish immigrant, Roseanna McDermott, whom he met while he was working as the miller for Jacob and Stephen Ulery. William, the father, worked as the miller for John Corbitt. I received some copies of his work from my cousin, Bobby Wise of Tennessee. My line is decended from Josiah, also. His son, Benjamin went to Louisiana and Texas - and we of course, are still here.
