Evelyn, The historical Society has two fees, $10 for inhouse research and $15 for outside research. They do have some volunteers, but they are very busy as you can imagine. I have had quite a bit of research done there and I found it worth paying for. However, if time will allow, you can request for a volunteer only. If you have just one or two things at a time you will get it done faster. I hope this helps. Kathy is very helpful and I have spoken to her many times.
