I have a listing for this cemetery. It was deeded September 22, 1875. Death dates on some of the tombstones date back to 1860, and the last burial was in 1915. The vanished village of White Mound once contained a blacksmith shop, Methodist Epicopal Church, general store and post office, cheese factory, saloon and dance hall. > > White Mound County Park which is app. 2 miles NW of the vanished village and this rural cemetery preserve the name of the now-gone town. For a number of years the care of this cemetery had been very much neglected but the caretaker of the park supervised a restoration and continues to assume care. I will include the last names of those buried there. If you need more specifics, please e-mail me.
