Frank Hackett was born in Boone Co., Ill., July 24, 1841; came to Sauk Co., WI with his parents, in 1848. He was married, Feb. 10, 1867, to Miss Ann E. Loomis; they had eight children-George W., James F., Samuel J., Joshua T., John M., Jacob A., Mary A. and Martha E. Mr. & Mrs. Hackett were both members of the Latter Day Saints' Church. Frank's father was Samuel Hackett, born in New Jersey on April 14, 1805; he married July 27, 1825 to Miss Dency Terry; she was born in Ontario, New York; they came to Sauk Co., WI in 1848; they had 15 children. Samuel Hackett died Feb. 18,1873; his widow married, June 26, 1879, John Hackett; they resided in North Freedom Sauk Co., WI. I hope this helps someone I know I found it to be very interesting!
