I am trying to find some information on the family of Delia Sherman, b. 21 Jan 1846, place unknown; d. 21 Aug 1887, Royal, Antelope Co., NE; married Edwin Haskin on 14 July 1867 in LaValle, Sauk Co., WI.Witnesses at the marriage were Sylvans Sherman and Ed Hoyt. Her father is listed as Leonard Sherman. No name for mother listed. According to Annie Haskin Buchanan, their daughter, some of Delia's family made the trip to Nebraska either with Delia and Edwin or followed after, I don't know. Annie states that Delia's brother, Watts Sherman is buried next to his sister. Have been unable to confirm this. He is not listed in the cemetery records. Would anyone have a copy of the 1860 census and could you tell me if the Sherman family is ennumerated in Sauk Co, WI.? I have found other Shermans living in Antelope County but from records I have found, they seem to be from Racine County, WI. Thank you, Dee Yeager dyeager@televar.com
