Thanks to everyone who responded to my post about problems with the Ancestry.com census subscription. Some of you were also having problems, but they seemed to be of a different nature. I tried accessing it from my computer at work, so it isn't my router or cable modem (unless it is a problem with those brands of equipment, since I have the same models at home as at work). So let me rephrase that -- is anyone else on the list, using a Macintosh. having problems? I'm thinking it may be a Mac compatibility problem. (At some point over the past week, I ran into a recommendation to Ancestry users that they use the latest version of Internet Explorer, 6.0 -- which is available only in a Windows version. So perhaps they upgraded Mac users out of existence. The alternative is a problem with my ISP. I didn't have time to call their support line today -- and I suppose it would be just too much of a coincidence for somebody on this list to be on triwest.net, or airstreamcomm. Scott
