Hi Cousin dont know if you have the following obit so I thought I would send it to you Jim Dlask Wisconsin State Journal Madison Wisconsin 04-05-2002 Anderson, Wilmer F. - ROCKBRIDGE - Wilmer F. Anderson, age 65, of Rockbridge, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at the Waverly Iowa Hospital. He was born on May 4, 1936, in Rockbridge, the son of Frank and Mary (Peckham) Anderson. He was married on Dec. 27, 1958, to the former Lois Moe. Wilmer was an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church where he served as President of the Congregation and was a member of the Christian Ministry of Hope. He was a member of the Richland County Wagon Train, Sugar Creek Bible Camp Board of Directors, and former director of Wisconsin High School Rodeo Association and Chairman of Rockbridge Town Board. Wilmer sold insurance first with the Lutheran Brotherhood, then Rural Insurance and then Schwarz Insurance where he retired in May of 2001. Survivors include his wife, Lois Anderson of Rockbridge; three daughters, Anne (Scott) Fischer of Mishicot, Joy Anderson Bower (Glenn) of Barneveld and Kari Anderson of Victor, New York; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Jennifer and Rachael Fischer, Alisha and Aaron Bower, Paul and David Seelman; a sister, Isabell Schooner of Rockbridge; nieces, nephews and countless cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Morjorie Anderson; and an infant sister, Helen Ann Anderson. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2002, at ST. JOHNS LUTHERAN CHURCH in Richland Center at 11 a.m. The Rev. Rolf Amundsen will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2002, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the STAFFORD FUNERAL HOME in Richland Center. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, the Sugar Creek Bible Camp or a charity of choice. The Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
